As a part of the Masters Swimming WA Open Water Swim Series’, our club organises and runs the annual Lake Leschenaultia Open Water Swim

The 2015 Lake Swim will take place on Sunday 8th November

400m Novice swim or 1.6km Lake Swim.

Lake Leschenaultia is a lovely lake situated in the outer Perth hills.

For the first time, in 2013, we ran the LiveLighter Novice 400 mtr—non-competitive Novice Event, open to all swimmers 12 years and over who are new to Open Water Swimming. This is an opportunity to try Open Water Swimming in calm water conditions, with no tides and ‘friendly’ wildlife.

This additional event took place again in 2014, and is likely to become a regular feature at the event. If you’ve never done an open water swim it’s a great opportunity to ‘have a go!’
